Snacks are gold when travelling with a toddler. We pack a variety to cover all moods and moments. Think yoghurt pouches, cereal, sultanas, sandwich/wrap, and treats for take-off and landing to help with ear pressure (lollipops or chewy snacks can work well). Small, fiddly food, that takes a long time to eat, can also be a form of entertainment!

Even though our son is well into his toddler years, we still travel with a swaddle or lightweight blanket. If you’re flying during naptime or on a red-eye, a blanket will provide an extra layer of familiarity and comfort. Sometimes we simply use it to make the seat more comfortable!
✔️ Spare Clothes
Yes, toddlers are messy, and accidents happen. So, we always pack a change of clothes. Don’t forget a lightweight jacket and socks in case the plane is cold!

✔️ Dummy (Pacifier)
Sucking can help relieve ear pressure during take-off and landing. If your toddler uses a dummy, pack two (because the first one will end up on the floor).

Keep travel toys separate leading up to your trip so they’re novel when your child has access to them again. We also like to wrap something new and small to unwrap mid-flight. Every minute of peace counts 🤗
